COVID 19 UPDATE from the board:

Hello EFRA Families,

First and foremost, the board of directors at Elora Fergus Ringette hope all are well and safe at this time.

We are reaching out to connect with our members, to let you know we are working behind the scenes to ensure that we can get back on the ice in a way that is safe for our players, coaches, bench staff, parents and fans.

On June 5, Ringette Ontario (RO) announced that all ringette activities are suspended until at least Sept. 1, 2020 and all sanctioned tournaments and league play are suspended until at least Jan. 1, 2021.  This statement is from RO.  Please understand that actual return to play action is still dependent on Provincial Emergency Orders, Guelph Wellington Dufferin Public Health (GWDPH), the Township of Centre Wellington and what our Board decides.

Ringette Canada has created a National Direction for Return to Ringette document, to read the full document, please click here .  From that document, Ringette Ontario has created their own Return to Ringette (RTR) guidelines for play in Ontario.  To read that document, please click here EFRA will be considering both of these documents as well, will be working with GWDPH, the Township of Centre Wellington and other ice users in Centre Wellington to create a feasible plan that works for our community.

Registration is currently open with a $100 deposit, $50 for new U8 age players.  Season Registration Fees are suspended at this time, when set, fees will be in line with the costs that reflect the realities of the season and the ice time we are able to offer.
The health and safety of our families and community members continue to be our top priority.  We ask that all members please be patient with us; the documents mentioned above outline a number of changes, many things we have never had to consider before.  Ringette this season will look different from what it has in the past, that we do know.

Some FAQ’s regarding the season from the RO point of view have been posted on the Ringette Ontario website.  For EFRA updates, please refer to our website and/or our Facebook page.  Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the chair at [email protected].
