COVID 19 UPDATE From Ringette Ontario
Submitted By Kyle Stirbet on Wednesday, July 15, 2020

A Message from Ringette Ontario:

After the release of Ringette Ontario’s Return to Ringette (RTR) Guidelines, we announced that we would be hosting a virtual town hall on July 15th to answer any questions you may have surrounding COVID-19, ringette and safety protocols for the upcoming season. In light of the Provincial Government’s recent announcement to enter into Stage 3 of its reopening plan, Ringette Ontario has made the decision to reschedule our town hall.

Over the next week, we will be working in collaboration with the RO Audit & Risk Standing Committee, SCC and other provincial sport organizations in order to determine how our RTR Guidelines will work within Ontario’s Stage 3 and if areas within our Guidelines need to be revised in order to accommodate for this new information.

Our next virtual town hall will take place next Wednesday (July 22nd) at 6:00 pm on Facebook Live.  We will be joined by Ringette Ontario's Executive Director, Pamela Julian, Technical Director, Karla Xavier and Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Marian Agyei-Gyamera. If you have any questions about 'Return to Ringette', please respond to this email and we will do our best to answer them for you next Wednesday. Please note that all questions submitted prior to July 15th will be added to the question list for next week.

As a community and sport-based organization, we strive to be transparent and informative and want to ensure the Return to Ringette guidelines, documents and resources we share during this time are conducive to the spaces that ringette is played.

Please visit our website for additional information and resources related to Return to Ringette.

Thank you all for your continued patience, understanding and support during this time.
Best Wishes,
The Ringette Ontario Team
