    Definitions

    Raffle Fee:  Elora-Fergus Ringette holds an annual Raffle at our year-end banquet.  It is mandatory that each family is required to sell 2 books of tickets. The family keeps the money collected for the tickets and the association will seek $100 from each family when the tickets are handed out.

     

    Volunteer Fee: Elora-Fergus Ringette is a non-profit organization. Our existence is dependent upon the contributions of our volunteers. There are many opportunities to participate in efforts to maximize the opportunities that Elora Fergus Ringette can provide to our members and to your children. The Elora Fergus Ringette mandates that each family shall volunteer a minimum of 5 hours throughout the season.  If your family has not completed your 5 hours prior to the end of the season, your player account will have the additional $150 charge added to it.

    Learn to Skate: 11 week session (Oct to Dec) and/or 11 week session (Jan to Mar) $150 per session or $250 for both sessions.  Learn to Skate participants require CSA Approved Helmet with a cage, skates and protective gloves.

    U7/8 Beginner: Full Ringette equipment is required. Fundamentals of the game are introduced and practiced. Players can move from the Learn to Skate program into the U7/8 program in January. Players in the learn to play program might only play a partial game schedule.

    Volunteer hours for High School Students: If a student volunteers their time with the younger age groups, this will go towards their High School Volunteer hours. This is a great opportunity for the older players to give back to the organization.

     

    Financial Assistance: The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington provides financial assistance for children in need so they can participate in sports, cultural and recreational activities. Funds are available for the activity of the child’s choice as long as the activity will benefit and enrich his or her own personal development.     Payment Options:
    initial e-transfer of $250 before June 30, 2019, remaining payment must be made by Sept. 15, 2019.  Your child will not be permitted on the ice until final payment is received, NO EXCEPTIONS!

    Elora Fergus Ringette mandates that each family provide a minimum of 5 hours of volunteer
    time throughout the season.
    The Association will be adding a $150 fee to player accounts of the families that DO NOT fulfill their Volunteer requirements. 
    This will need to be paid prior to the end of the February.

    **Volunteer commitments are not applicable in the learn to skate program.**

    I understand that the registrant must abide by the governing rules and failure to comply by them could result in him/her being barred from competition.

    2.       I hereby release the Elora-Fergus Ringette Association from all claims for damages arising from any accident or injury which is caused by or arises from participation of the applicant hereon during any program or in any facility where a program is being held.

Your Registration is NOT complete until your full payment is received!  Early Bird Registrants are required to pay $250 of registration cost at time of registration, final payments must be received no later than September 15, 2019, otherwise your player WILL NOT be permitted on the ice.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!

    Refund Policy – full refunds will be given if you are not accepted due to space availability or if you withdraw prior to September 1, 2019. In all other cases, a $50.00 admin fee will be retained and refund will be prorated.   Requests for refund must be made in writing no later than December 31, 2019.

    NSF and Returned Cheques – will be levied a $45.00 service charge and must be replaced with a money order or certified cheque.  The player will not be placed on a team until fees are paid.
